I have not posted in over a month, it has been very busy!   I need to improve for the rest of the year, maybe I will try to post at least 5 more times before the end of the year.   This is my favorite time of year with the decorations, lights, selfless giving, helping others, the movies, hot chocolate, celebrating the birth of our savior and family.

My littlest man was sick recently ended up getting something I had never heard of, Kawasaki disease.   Kawasaki Disease is a condition that causes inflammation in the walls of the small and medium sized arteries throughout the body, including the coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart muscle.  It also affects lymph nodes, skin and the mucous membranes inside the mouth, nose and throat.  Check out more information at http://www.kdfoundation.org/ as the doctor's first told me it was something viral.     This can cause damage to the heart if there is delay in treatment so listen to your mother or father's intuition!

He is home and doing great and we have some follow-ups with cardiologists, but I am expecting no further issues thank God!   I am very grateful for my family and friends and all the caring people that we have in our lives.
