June 30 - Brookfield ZooI took the boys to Brookfield Zoo by my lonesome as their Dad was busy and we wanted to get out of the house. I love Brookfield Zoo, but it gets quite crowded and hard to see the animals. I need to take a day to myself and my zoom lens and see if I can get some wonderful snapshots by waiting for the perfect one versus rushing by to keep a two-year amused. I love the animals, truly beautiful. I do pity them and wonder if they know what they are missing, but the one who makes me feel this the most are the gorillas. They seem sad or maybe they just don't like people and when the doors are locked they go back to normal.
My other favorite animals are the giraffes. They are long, peaceful looking, graceful and I love their eyelashes.

I'm learning as I go and I hope that many others will enjoy my photography and learn with me! I was inspired to pursue photography from capturing images of my children and family that people loved. I have been taking pictures since I can remember. I love photography and almost obsess about having beautiful pictures of my family and clients! I feel that photography is so extremely expensive and I hope to be able to provide lasting memories for low costs. Thank you for stopping by!
