June 29 - Day In The ParkToday was the annual Day in the Park that Evergreen Park Village sponsors at Circle Park. It was an overcast day, but that didn't matter still a bunch of kids and families out there celebrating the community. They had face painting, food, pony rides, petting zoos and a bouncy house...what more could a child ask for.
My two boys could care less about face painting and the food, they wanted the fire trucks. I was able to get them to participate in the bouncy house and we went to see the animals, but fire trucks were all they wanted to see. The EP Fire Department personnel are the nicest, they let the kids crawl all over the inside of the trucks and were very patient with all the little kids. All the people working at the Day in the Park were wonderful and this is what makes Evergreen Park a great place to live, the community. Here are some photos for the day, we didn't stay too long because my youngest was napless and a breakdown was starting to occur.
